Today I was cruisin around and had to stop at a light. As I accelerated my tranny started to slip from 1st - 2nd. I thought maybe it was a fluke bad timing... Stopped at another light, accelerated and 3 gears slipped. WTF I just got a new tranny last year, I hope its still under warranty.

This is tranny #3, the first one was covered under warranty it went at 96000km this one was brand new with a one year warranty. Gonna be another new one, I think im gonna stop mashing the pedal with the new one.

Gonna find out if its still under warranty on monday

if it IS still under warrenty and they do have to rebuild it, you should have them install some alto red eagle clutch packs in ther for you adn see if that helps at all. maybe pay a bit extra for that eh?

 

if its not under warrenty get a 5spd swap

no ww lip... mine is lowered with rims...

Acura doesn't rebuild trannys under warranty, they consider that too much work. What they do is replace it with a brand new one. The stupid thing is though, IS that this tranny was brand new when i got it last year...thats one year and I need another one WTF!!!

 

nope i have a 97 primrose unlowered yet but i am buying springs off xxx
