Toyo Proxes 4

I just bought a set of the new Toyo Proxes 4 tires yesterday. After two days of driving on them, I'm pleased with how they perform. They replaced the Michelin Energy tires that came with the car. They handle MUCH better than the Michelins, and they're pretty quiet too. They were $117 for 205 55 16s at Les Schwab Tires.

PS I tried attaching a pic from the Toyo website, but they're too big. See them at http://www.toyo.com/tires/

Really? I thought the Proxes 4 have only been available for a couple of months.

toyo tp2

I bought 2 for my car. I had some proxes from the old model ones.
I could not match them so the new one spt are great. But Consumer Report rates them 2nd last it falls short in wet braking. Take a look at this months mag.
I like these Toyo's because of the high treadwear life 400 should last a long time. Unlike my Dunlops or Goodyears 320 or 280 treadwear what a joke.
Oh ya by the way Consumer Reports recommended Dunlops once way back when go figure.
