Tough Decision...

I have $2500 and I am going to be making an investment in the near future.
I will be taking one of two paths
#1- H22a Motor, Tranny, ECU($2000), 5spd tranny swap(approx $500)
and my boy has a turbo connection that gives him one everytime he asks(free)
all I would need to pay for is the piping,IC,BOV. so If I choose door #1 then a turbo setup will follow in a few months

#2- 2001 White Yamaha R6 w/ 4,000k miles($2500)..Cleeeaaaaannn

so there you have it..my debate w/ myself, please let me know what you would do w/ the money. and no there is no other options. Im doin # 1 or 2..

Thanks

#2 for sure!

with #1 you wont have any return for it in the future but with the bike u can always sell it and get some of ur money back.

2. definitely.

like ^ said. It's going to be extremely difficult trying to make back even a little of the money from a turbo project.

#1, bikes are way too dangerous. Think of how that CL will sound and feel with the 5 speed. Besides, bikes are fair weather friends. You can't ride them safely on wet pavement, and people just are not careful. You could get smacked by some jackass. There was a thread about a guy who was cut in half after crashing at 100+ miles an hour. If I remember right, it even had pics, pretty fucking grusome.

I wouldn't consider either an "investment." Go with the turbo H22, bikes are too dangerous.

Exactly the biggest thing you need to worry about is chicks in big SUV's yapping away on the phone and switching lanes while you are riding. JUST DO THE SWAP!!! If you need a shop to do it , I know one in Elizabeth.

Ask people you know about getting a bike, just about everyone you ask will know someone that was either killed or severly injured on a bike. Well, at least thats what kept me from getting one.

Get the engine, cars keep you dry and safe.
