Tire well in trunk

Tire well in trunk
I noticed my one front tire had an "egg" bulging out of the sidewall, so I swapped it w/ the spare pony. According to the owners manual, the flat full-size tire should fit right in there where the spare was, but its too damn wide, so the trunk carpet/floor doesn't lay back down flat. (I even tried letting the air out, and that didn't make a difference)
what a pain in the ass. I had to empty my whole trunk (lots of junk) into the back seat. you'd think they;d have thought of that when designing the compartment, that some people might even want to use a full size spare.
Im glad I didn't get a flat when i had a car load of people... i would have had to leave some behind...

Oh yeah, when they tell you to check your spare's pressure everytime you check your other tire's, they ain't kidding. Mine was down to 35psi (supposed to be at 60!!)

Yep, I carry a full size spare in both my CL & the RS, which makes the trunk floor teeter-totter because the full size tires don't quite fit 
. But the peace of mind that comes from having a full size spare is quite nice 
.
