I need new tires on my stock 16" rims. What is the widest tire that can fit on this rim?

i have no idea, but when someone answers, could you also tell me if 235/40/18 would fit on my 18x7.5 wheels. Right now i have 225/40/18. Thanks

Do you not like your 225's or something? Do you think they are too small?

 

no, my 225's are fine, but i was just wondering because i'm getting new tires as soon as i get a camber kit. I figured the extra width would be a little better for handling, but they would probably rub when i turn. Especially since i've got like a 2.5" drop.
