Tire Pressure

Hey guys, I have a question. I purchase tires and wheels for my 97 CL, I moved up one inch to 17 inch Enkei's, and Yoko Parada's 205/45-17. When I rec'd them from Discount Tire Direct, they were WAY overinflated to like 42 lbs. I let some air out to 32 lbs. and know, it drives too soft, and much less response. My question is, does anyone know if an adjustment in air pressure is needed for the plus size tires ? Thanks.

Every tire has its own normal pressure that should be in the tire at all times. For the stock tires on the 1st gen's, it was at 32psi. Now you went with different tires, so it would most likely be too little. Ask the discount tire guys to see if they can suggest, if not call the tire company to ask. I know that that would be near impossible, but its ok.

Actually, most of the psi numbers on the tire itself are the max psi that the tire can hold. You don't always want to run at max..Like for the stock tires, it says 42psi on the tire, but you should only inflate to about 32psi.
