How the hell did you get a ticket for a drop. I thought drop is perfectly legal. Is that a Hawaii law?

A lot of states don't let you modify your suspension. And those who do allow it have a limit on how long you can go. For example here in california your headlights can't be lower then 14" from the ground. It's rarely inforced. The same kind of laws go for lifting a car/truck.

ebednarz 07-22-2002 10:53 AM

DAMN!!! I never knew that. I guess it's the same thing as here in Jersey. You can't tint you're front two windows. Never understood that law, considering every other state allows you to. Some have limits, but at least they allow you to.

in IL it's illegal to tint your two fronts also, although i've never seen it enforced

sorry to hear that. I tinted my front windows 25% more than legal and I'm hoping that I'll remember to pull them down if a cop pulls me over for driving at an efficient speed.

what color were the bulbs? and a ticket for clears? I hear that anything but stock colors = 'impersonating a police officer' but who'd want to impersonate a jackass? :smash:

Damn it...you would think cops would have better things to do. What the hell is society coming to where "oh...you're car is too low....TICKET"

I mean, would it kill them that I have no ground clearance? Would it pysically harm them if my bulbs are yellow or my tint is dark? WTF.

the bulbs are hyper white, so they're colored blue. she was a stupid rookie too cuz she never knew my dad who is also a cop.
