they don't make spec-v's in auto

why would you want it in an auto anyway??
I like specs and everything, and 2 of my good friends have them and they are quick for what they are, but the back end...

I believe what he's saying is the back end (rear of the car) is ugly. Which I agree on. It looks just like a standard sentra from the rear. Not agressive like the front.

I believe he was saying the opposite... has an auto 2.3 and wants to trade it in for a sentra.

Hmm, tough choice. My friend has a Spec-V, and i think its a really cool car. Guess its gonna come down to what u want more, the looks of the CL or the speed of the Spec-V.

You said "for a spec-v auto" insurance is not too high at all. of course any new cars insurance will be a little higher than a 98, but it's still a 4cyl. sedan to the insurance company.

cons are hard to launch. (launch at 2k) SPins forever in 2nd gear, and i think nissan lied about the mpg cause my buddy gets like 15mpg. (yeah i know he drives it hard but still)

its a fun car for the price...I think that would be a good trade for a 2.3auto, unless you're hoping for some more luxury

I know it's a damn Neon - but I would rather have the SRT-4 than the Spec-V. If you aren't going for luxury, might as well get the speed you want.

i'd rock the SRT-4 over the Spec-V, no doubt! i'd have to have it in black, with no wing, but the SRT-4 is badass, hands down best value for the $$.

Ya know - I said the same thing man. But the article Gavrill posted about the SRT-4 shows otherwise. They really went the extra mile on this car. It's built VERY well. The Mopar race teams are running 800+ hp on the stock block, pistons, etc. Really the only down sides to it is the cheap inside and the fact that "Neon" HAD a bad name.
