Is there a chip for our CL's
was wondering if theres a chip for the 98 3.0 cl.. i know theres a APR chip for the jettas... any 1 know how much more hp it gives the jettas with it? thanks

I wondered the same too. My friend with a 99 AV6 was looking into a "unichip" whatever that may be. Supposed to add like 15hp. If I hear anymore about it, I'll let you know.

There's nothing easy and beneficial like a simple chip swap. There's the Venom 400 which is pretty easy to install, but benefits are minimal. Then APEXI makes AFC units. Not too expensive but they require dyno tuning to get setup. Finally, AEM offers a Programmable Engine Management System, buts its expensive and requires a lot of engine knowledge and dynoing to setup. I looked into that Unichip once before but didn't see it for our cars. Maybe they got one now.

It's only turboed cars that benefit from these chips because they just increase the boost levels. Honda bleeds every drop of power from the engine possible. There is no, "hidden" power without bolt ons.
