Not that many people actually read the 'Having Sec thought on the hood.....' He just said that its a temporary look and wanted to know what we thought. In assumption and disregard for the 'Having Sec thought on the hood.....' statement, we weren't exactly looking completely at YOUR hood on his car and how well it looked. People were instead giving their opinions on the car in whole. What's with you and jumping the second you think someone bashes a CL that isnt of the "AcuraZine, clear sigs, WW Lip, and tail tint." stereotype...Like were out to get CL's that are doing something different, or something.

Just my observation.

i have a hard time believing he ran a 13.1 especially since both of the videos of his car at the track show him running around 15's.
i saw the time slip with my own eyes. and even if he was lying about 13.1 the other car he raced ran a 13.2 so regardless either way they are both good times.

ive said in the past i wasnt crazy about the lids and the badges. if they were normal honda badges it would be agreeable. but i was just pointing out for the moment that no one was really focusing on the question.

did you see the pass of either car for yourself?
so hes all n/a, no spray no FI. im sure hes running full interior without slicks and some how he goes from his normal 15sec passes to 13 without any major upgrades?

no i didnt see the run, i was gonna go that night, but i had to stay later for work. hes all N/A with a built head, and bolt ons with fuel and ignition upgrades clutch/flywheel. he ran with slicks, and the kid gets constant tuning at the shop i go to. ive driven the car, its truely a beast.

i see the reason some would be skeptical though

no grudge.......im sure everyone knows by now i have a hard time believing any passes under 14sec with the cl with the exception of cocoa's car.
and i believe the videos are of when he first got the swap done and the other one looks more recent.

wtf is all the debate with his car? h22's have some serious potential he has the euro spec which is a higher compression, starting his engine off at 220 hp. and with all his mods, 14 seconds is very believable

As for the hood, I think it looks sick. Keep it on there.

As for my personal opinion, I think black eye lids would look sick. Is that a real JDM badge, or a knock off?

btw.

hey the lug r the work one's they are lite as hell!! the colors the have r blue like the one's i got,red and black. the go for $120

Yeap yeap, bad ass. That's the average price for lugs from pretty much Spoon, Rays, Jay's racing, all the great companies. It's what I expected to pay pretty much no matter what color I go with. Keep up the good work.

97 it's not a CL , it's a CL body with an engine swap....why do we continue to praise these h22 swappers.I can understatand cocoa's beast cause what he did was just amazing. But I want to see those people who keep the CL engines and make those fast. The 3.0' or 2.3, I totally understand that those blocks are fat cows but with some hard work and love my f23 will give a fake h22 cl a dam good race....any day any time......

we dont just praise H22 swappers (not like theres that many out there to begin with). but i could have sworn we praised shiney for his n2o'ed F22, ayougo's built F22, and others. yea and a H22 with some internals and boost will smoke any single cam F-series. you can only push a F22/3 so far until it reachs its limits. but despite what most ppl think that extra cam makes a world of difference.

ive always been a huge single cam supporter, espeically when ppl do single cam builds. but with equal mods a F23 cant match the performance of an H22.

fake H22 CL, damn thats a ruff statement.

I dunno what to think of those eyelids. But I do know what thing for sure, if your gonna do them, please, for the sake of the CL. Could you please find it deep down TO PAINT THEM ON...

Tape? You have reduced your car to TAPE!?!?!?! :sigh:

Do you drive a Volkswagon? Good god man.... Tape... :wtf:

I don't know what else to say.... I like the car man. A lot... But tape...

Oh, and the downhill racing thing. Sounds fun, but sounds dangerous at the same time. Last time those two words in used in the same sentence, said by me, got me 9 stitches in my neck.. So no thanks... But be safe be safe... Hope no one ever gets hurt, or gets someone else hurt.

a stock evo ix MR runs a 13.3, a 01 corvette z06 does 13.0. 07 audi rs4 quattro runs a 13.2.
i dont see a h22 euro spec swapped cl with some internal work and a interfooler can stack up to these cars.

It's all about power to weight ratio. A fully built h22 can hit 270whp NA. As seen in the jun prelude.

It's hard to say anything without the complete list of engine work.

Euro R's Mods:
Crower springs, valves,& retainors
Skunk2 stage 1 w/ Skunk2 adjustable cam gears
Port & polish head
Port & polish stock intake manifold
K&N cold air intake
11.1 compestion pistons stock w/ eagle rods
DC sports headers 4-2-1
Greddy Evo 2 exhaust
Venom fuel pump
Accel high flow injectors
V-afc v-tec controller
p 28 ecu w/ skunk 2 chip
Excedy stage 2 racing clutch & flywheel
E Shift perfomarce dyno tuned
No power steering
No Catalitic converter
his mods list from a few months ago, doubt that thing is pushing over 230whp.
power to weight isnt too good, fwd=not very good traction. has potential in highway racing, but from a dig i dont see a 13.1 coming out of it.

With roughly 230whp in a 3000lb car, 13's is doable.

230whp in a 3000lb car, im seeing low 14's............it'd take a miracle + perfect condition and the best shifting ever to get a 13.1

here's a 5th gen Prelude running 13.52 N/A. There is a Mod list as well...

HT prelude

This is why I think it is hard to believe a 13.1 in a CL... especially with less mods.
