Tein CS Coilovers
So I have an opportunity to pick up some 94-97 Accord Tein Type CS coilvers with the EDFC. They are used but only for about 3k miles. First question, what is a good offer to the guy for them? Second, since I suck hardcore at suspension work, how much can I expect to pay for them installed with the EDFC too? Thanks in advance for all responses

He's gonna want a lot for teins that are barely used especially with the EDFC which runs a pretty penny by itself. One member on here had trouble getting the EDFC to fit, so let us know if you have issues.

If the guy wants a crazy amount, id recommend just gettin some Basic's. Unless you plan on doing some serious moding. But if you can get a hell of a deal man, jump all over it.

One custom CL
I installed my SSP with master polyurethane bushing set and it took me roughly 12 hours. Not only were there difficulties but also a lot of labor.

Never heard of CS coilovers.
Tein SS-P is compatible with the EDFC
Tein SS is Not compatible with the EDFC
The EDFC is Not compatible with the 97-99 Acura CL.
You can probably do it if you add spacers to your hood and maybe cut some of the
metal off of the inside of the hood. The motor sits to high and is too large for the
hood to close. That was my experience with the EDFC.
If you can get it to work, mazel tov.. I just don't see it being worth the trouble.

the CS "Cruising Master" Tein coilovers are a discontinued model. heres a write up on them:
"Comfort Spec Cruising Master TYPE CS -
Coilovers developed for drivers seeking higher quality of "Comfort". Type CS provides comfort by heightening road holding to its maximum. In order to provide comfort, Tein made the shell case shorter but kept sufficient stroke. Tein solved the discomfort caused by shortening the stroke like any similar sport shock absorber. Tein also has solved the problems, which had been quite often seen in original standard shock absorbers, that suspension performance had not been shown in full. Tein succeeded in increasing the capacity of the shell case by 130% compared with a genuine case by adapting mono-tube style and increasing diameter of the case, and realized ultimate comfort with driving safety by stabilizing the damping force and setting spring rate most appropriately. The setting will provide you with comfortable driving on the streets and highway.
Contents-
(x4) Adjustable shock absorber
(x4) Main spring, (x4) Lower spring Seat, (x4) Spring Seat lock
(x4) Bump rubber, (x4) Dust cover, (x4) Thrust Washers
(x4) Rubber Upper Mounts
(x2) Hook spanner, Height Gauge and Instruction manual.
Also comes with Damping Force Adjust tool."
Do you have pics of your SS-P install?
