TCS light comes on intermittently when accelerating from stop
Hi,
This is driving me nuts, mainly because it is intermittent and it happens several times a day. When I accelerate (normal acceleration) from a full stop, my Tranny will make a noise, you can hear the tranny rotate and it makes kind of a rubbing noise and the TCS light comes on for a second and then the tranny catches and the car accelerates normally. I watched for the flashing D5 light, but it was not flashing. As I said, it is intermittent. I notice it more on slight upgrades than I do if the road is sloping downward. I have had the tranny fail once before and this was completely different. I took it to the dealership several months ago, but they said they couldn't find any problems. IF anyone has had this happen to their CL let me know.
Thanks
