Swap Gripe
Ok, so after I swapped an h22a into my car, I have been slowly but surely figuring out the little issues that have arose after the swap. One thing that really boggled my head was my A/C will not work for ish.... Well after like 2 hours of troubleshooting we figured out that the problem is the Damn OBDII to OBDI piggie back harness. The damn thing is wired wrong and that is why my A/C compressor will not come on. So now I have to pull both helms and cross ref the wiring for each ECU to find out where the pin should go. I swear when doing stuff like this, it blows when the problem isn't with your work, but the piece that you bought that should be flawless.

welcome to the industry, I can't tell you how many times i've bought stuff that was suppose to work or fit properly that didn't. The worst was a manifold for my buddies SBC. We had to completely drill our own holes because the ones that were there didn't line up for shit. Then the manifold didn't sit flush so we had to grind away at it to get it to.

Whewwww Tell me about it people. I guess that is the price we pay for having something that many CL owners do not. And like my man said, the feeling of accomplishment when it's all said and done is.......................well words can not even describe.
2 questions (sorry if i hi-jacked)
1. How does the H22 feel during everyday driving?
2. Does anyone have it swapped with an automatic tranny? Or does it have to be manual.
I am thinkin about doing this in the future and wanted to know what everyone thinks. I don't want anymore headaches with this car. Thanks for the info.
