Suspension Question
Hey guys i got my 2.2CL
dropped with eibach pro-kit springs and kyb agx adjstbl. gas shocks
when iam drivin' and i hit a bump
i hear a big thump at the rear
Why is this?
the install was set up wrong?
the setting?

yea, seems to be normal. I have a 3.0 with pro-kit and mine makes the same noise. I never worried about it, nothing looks wrong after year of have the drop

its normal to me
one time i got rid of it....but then the strut was bottomed out....so thats why
its something about the coils on the rear springs where its together is like really close, so when u hit a bump, they split and hit eachother again....thats my guess

yea thats the exact reason. sucks but thats what u get with most progressive rate springs.

Ive been experiencing the same problem with the Prokits. Im glad to hear someone say that its the progressive rears binding up on themselves. That was one of my theories, since the coils are so tightly packed in the rear to begin with, when installed and stationary.
