really simple.. if your dealer or where ever you are ghetting it carries jl audio... buy them in 10" woofer and get a zapco 350 to run it... pics(front of speakers) of my system are posted in NEW COLOR PICS in the gallery... ask BIGMAN how it banged... its harder hitting than 12" with deep bass and puchy enough for dance or housde... JL Ausio & ZAPCO are great combination....

I would use kicker copetition VR. I had the same pair for 4 years in 4 different cars, the hit crazy hard, they sound great nomatter what type of music you listen too. I run a Orion competion amp 300x2, that way over powered & too expensive, I would suggest a kicker amp, my freinds got 12" comps running a kicker amp & it hits as good as mine. The kicker amp actully has a gain control you mount inside the cockpit...Not to mension kickers great warrenty

Either Kicker Comp VR's or SoloBaric L7. I would use either DEI 1100 mono, or a US Amp(not sure what kind of power US offers). I would also use a sealed box. The one great thing about Kicker Subs is that you can use a small ass box. The 10 SoloBarics boxs range from .66-1 cubic inch. This way you will still have a trunk for storage.

well as far as price I cant help you cuz i dont worry about it till my bill comes when it comes to a system but as for subs and an amp I am doing crazy shiit
4 xtant 12 inch subs
2 xtant 1000 watt amps
that is if it all goes as planned and i do a lot of systems i have to say that the best amps i have seen are xtant and though the older model xtant subs sucked the new ones hit nice xtant specializes in amps so their amps are of the highest quality and the new subs are now of the highest in quality hope this will help any questions just post it

I Would like to see JL W6's BREAK GLASS

Well the choices that the other people told you are all pretty good...there's many different ways to go...for the price of each JL w6 sub for 300 each is asking a lot for a sub...you can get subs a third of that price that are better...take for instance IDQ's ...they hit a lot harder than most of the subs i've heard and they sound extremely clean...just one suggestion...there are others like Orion xtr pro's which are also considered really good...try the new IDQ max's which are the new line of IDQ which are the new top of the line with huge magnets....the Crystal CMP's also hit nice and clean...Diamond M5 subs and Hex subs are good... many choices...but if you get subs...as for amps try to get a class "D" amp for the subs because they are made to power solely subs and will never overheat after playing for hours...Also if you want to balance out your system it would be good to add some mids and highs so you have a balance, not too much bass and not enough much of anything else...get a new headunit preferably with a non fader output (sub control, maybe another amp for the inside speakers( not necessity but adds to clarity)...then get some components in the front...you dont really need the back speakers because the subs will drown out the sound of the mids and highs in the back so you wouldnt hear them anyways...just a suggestion...if you want im selling my headunit...=)...

ok.. aftera ll is said and done.. you gotta choose what you want based on your type of music and your listening ear... some people need lots a treble, some lots a bass.... some in the middle.. I am BASS DEAF.. the more the better... good luck on deciding

If you want deep bass...you have to get at least 12's...10s cannot go nearly as deep in frequencey tones as 12's can...you might want to consider 15's...they can go even deeper...but you will loose sound accuracy or sq(sound quality) with 15's...unless you get some good brands like crystal CMP which is rated to have better sq than a 12" JL w6...loook to get a class D amp...the power that comes with the class D amp is definitely well worth it...you will love the power a class D amp gives you...nothing will power it better than class D...you can get a pretty good headunit with your budget...and get a good set of components like focals or diamond audio, or dynaudio...and wire a seperate amp to that one too...you dont need any rear speakers because when you play your subs...the bass will drown out the mids and highs from the rear speakers so you wont hear them anyways...unless u dont always turn it up...but for me....its always up
