strut bars?

so I'm trying to get strut bars for my car. I was looking around on ebay and saw many different strut applications: upper front, lower front, upper rear, lower rear. I'm wondering which ones do i really need? or i do get all 4 of them?

Your CL already has a stock front upper strut bar, the one that helps the most is a rear upper strut bar, if you want a bar running through the middle of your trunk, I have upper front and lower front, but when I was slammed I scraped the lower one on middle, you don't technically need any

right now, i'm heading towards the megan racing bars. the upper front and rear seem easy enough for DIY, but how about the lower?

As I've said a million times, best fit and thickest strut bars that fit with ease are Suspension Techniques 94-97 Accord F&R Sways, I have em, I've told a over a dozen people on here to get them.

Megan is junk, buy a solid strut bar, you're not gonna benefit from cheap thin metal with holes in it, you need a solid piece of metal and good brackets. Check out Marcus heeltoe, he has nice cusco upper and lower braces, I got my lower front brace from him, and if I didn't already have my NRG upper brace I would have gotten the upper from him as well. Nice thick upper brace

https://acurazine.com/forums/sponsored-sales-group-buys-10/cusco-strut-braces-lower-subframe-braces-%2A%2A%2A-stock-330194/

Uppers are easy, rears are somewhat easy if you have jack stands, both front lower and rear lower tie bars are 2 bolts each.

all 3 are insanely easy.

the only thing with the front is that your to hammer off this small bracket thats in the way of the aftermarket bar.

The rear sway really makes more difference, but I got the set

Really? I'm amazed at how close I got the pics to be side by side almost identical viewpoint.

Well sways go under the car, and yes I do have pictures, you're thinking of the rear upper strut bar which I do not have because I have too much work and equipment in my trunk for a bar like that.

From everyone elses experience Megan products are cheap junk, search for Klepto's Megan Headers thread, many people on many different forums have been upset with Megan's quality over the years

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ST-FR...1%7C240%3A1318

This is who I got mine through, and referred a few members to. Great seller, and best price I could find when I got mine. Geez, they should be paying me commission. Also all I did was search ebay motors for 97 accord sway

so yea im gonna try out these megan racing LCA's and rear toe bar's. but they are NOT staying blue! im gonna polish them for like an alloy finish.

tanabe sway bars are something in the near future too. id get the ST bars but green is a very conflicting color.

im either gonna polish the LCA's (when i get them) or spray them red. i have a connection in the Bay Area on Hondasociety.com that can get custom LCA's for the Accord suspension. they look 20x better then the megan ones. i can get a picture of them installed later if anyone is interested.

As far as I know the ST sways are now a dark gray color now, they used to be lime green

Kneeling down to see the sway, it will be completely invisible once I drop again and put my rear lip on

Doesn't really show up from far away, you just see the bushings, pic is a little blurry but we were both in motion

Quick Reply: strut bars?
