Stripped Screw
I stripped a screw in my one corner light housing. Id really like to take it out, without having to take off the bumper. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Please and Thank you!!

well i guess i essentially rounded the top of the screw.
If I had a drill bit that was long enough than that would work im assuming.
I dont think I want to pry it out..

then u have to get under the car and try to snip the metal bracket in half. after the screw comes out you can simply close the cut up with pliers. the braket doesnt hold a lot of pressure so it wouldnt hurt for u to cut it open or bend it

The bracket that hold the screw in? Not sure if I know which one your talking about.
And does anyone know where to get the white pieces that hold the screws in the corner housing on the Acura Automotive's website? I cant find it or know what to look for. Thanks.

Ha, no cause you have to take the corner light off to get to the bolts anyway.
Someone told me that, haha. *COUGH*
So should I try drilling the screw or what?

haha, funny. No seriously though, would drilling out the screw work? What would I have to do to get it out? Just get a small drill bit, drill the center of the screw and essentially break the screw or how would I get it out? Ive never done that before.

I went to Sears and bought drill bits that are used to remove stripped screws. Can't say i have used it on my car but definately worked on a plasma tv. I'm sure it will work.
JUST MAKE SURE U DRILL SLOOOWLY. If the drill is used at full power it won't work.
