Strange water leak in the left front.
After a drive of any distance, I notice a small puddle of water under the left front, right in front of the tire. Any idea what this is?

Depending on what you are calling left, if it looks like water, i would say windshield fluid if its driver side or water from the AC compressor on the passenger side.

Blinker fluid. But yeah, what color is it, and what does it taste like?

He said it is water. Could easily be washer fluid or condenser drain off. Being on the driver side of a 97 3.0 CL, I am bending toward washer fluid. But isn't that the wrong side for the resivour? Do you use special washer fluid, such as RAINX or just the old-fashioned blue stuff. "BLINKER FLUID," WTFIT? It could be vacume system moisture drain. That is the only other thing I can think of that would emit water. This drain is on the driver side, but it is behind the front wheel, and toward the center of the driver side. Put a piece of white paper down and look at the color of the fluid. Feel it to see if it feels oily or more water-like, but DON"T TASTE IT. Many automotive fluids are toxic... not to mention they taste awful.

Wrong side for the AC, the only reason it could have been washer fluid is due the fact that the hoses go up throught to the hood. But he is saying it is definately water... So in that case, you may have cabin moisture bleeding off through the air vents. This is a little odd. I would almost hate to say you may have a damaged condenser tray. This allows water to collect in the wrong places. And being as it is not a large amount, this would make sence. By damaged I mean, that the drain may be blocked. It would normaly appear on the passenger side about the area of the firewall. Only other thing is that you have caught water in the air inlets and it is draing off after you stop... Again, a little odd, but probably harmless.
