disadavantages: loud, smelly, illegal, loss of low end power

advantages: usually a nice increase of high end power, big increase if you have FI

dude, I have that exact one at my house. I bought it from someone on here but never put it on. I ended up hallowing my cat out instead (same shit as straight pipe). I've had it in my garage for over a year. You can have it for 50 bucks shipped if you want.

But, the one thing I always questioned about it, was whether it'd actually fit because of that lose flange it has at the end. Take a closer look at the pic. The flange on the left is lose, it's not welded on like the one on the right. Do you think it's for stock headers only?

do NOT buy from maxracing pipe. i ordered one for my 2.3 and both flanges were wrong and it was too short. they told me to send it back for an exchange or refund and they claim they never got it even though i had tracking.

You can do it yourself. Take it off, get a metal rod or hard pipe, stick it in the cat, and bash that shit till it's empty inside.

Most shops won't do it because it's illegal and they can get in big trouble for it. But some will do it under the tablefor like 30 bucks. But odds are, they'll turn you down, cause they have a lot more to lose than to gain.

Also, be sure not to breathe in that stuff.....and wash your clothes after doing so...
