Stock Ride Height 2.3 vs 3.0

Hi, I am in the market to get a 99 cl. I am not sure what engine to get but the question I have is the ride height. I notice the 2.3 sits higher up than the 3.0 in the rear. Is this just me or does the 2.3 sit higher up than the 3.0? I am guessing they have different springs for the different wieghts of the car. Anyone have a clue? Thanks much

the 3.0 is a lil heavier so it might sit a lil lower...but i think they are setup diffrent cause the springs are diffrent in aftermarket i think..not 100% sure

if they are different it is news to me, maybe one had a full tank the other was empty, that would be 100 pounds difference.

For speed, get a 2.3 5sp and swap the motor. If your looking for a slow nice car, stick with the 3.0

This makes sense to me. Actually, quite a bit more than 100lbs.

As far as the engine. 3.0 is for stock power or little mods. If you want crazy speed, get the 2.3 5spd, and like was said - swap the motor, turbo, running mice, etc.
