i put my stock exhaust back on today piping and everything. The piping is soooo small. 1 3/4 compared to 2 1/2. Drives a lot more quieter. I love it. I can hear everything my system pushes out. Low end stayed the same almost but top end sucks! Its slow when ur at 80mph and trying to reach 100mph. Dunno if i can even get it up to 120mph anymore.

what i prob end up doing is making custom 2 1/4 piping and welding the stock muffler on that. Im definately going to keep the quiet sleeper look.

The stock muffler is very restrictive. That's where your top end is being snuffed at. I'd say see if you can fit in another "pre-silencer" or "resinator" because they are non restrictive straight through mufflers. Then you can get a dual out exhaust that tucks up in the factory location. Get a muffler with a much larger canister to it, that makes it quieter.

If you want the ultimate sleeper look then try to securely fit the stock muffler's rear plate and tips (cut off of the stock muff) onto the new exhaust. Lot of work though.

Ditch the stock muffler though, the thing is choking your flow.

my greddy was actually really quiet. I had 2 resonators put on it. Im still just tired of the sound. The constant humming. I took the car out for a 2 1/2hr trip to the casinos and when i got home i was finally tired of it. It took almost 4 yrs. Im happy with the quiet sound now.
