stock CD player in civic

stock CD player in civic

i fooked up 98 CL bose CD-player into my buddy's 95 civic. since the plug thing shape same, it just connect but sound of speaker is very quiet. other than that, it work parfect.

is there any way to make it louder?

if it need to fook up amp, how should I fook up amp between CD-play and speakers.

the bose unit requires the factory amp located in the trunk, behind the right rear tail light

i tried to put mine in my girls accord and also ran into the same problem

you don't

the stock bose headunit just isn't meant to be an independant power source as well as a sound thing. You need an external amp to run it, perhaps why the Bose system has a stock amp in the premium vehicles.

This problem emerged in my friend's integra too!
