I have had my CL for over a year now, and dont remember an incident where my Car Alarm has gone off? Is there a way to make the alarm more sensitive? like maybee adding shock sensors or such?

Our alarm is pretty basic, only it will go off is if you open the door while it is on i think. I'm sure you can add a shock sensor to the stock alarm. Wonder how much that would cost?

The stock alarm doesn't have shock sensors. It has a passive immobilizer and it also goes off when the doors are opened.
Not sure about this, but i think that's what it is.

Do a search for "shock sensor". There was at least one post with really good instructions on how to add a shock sensor to the factory alarm. Don't cheap out on the sensor, get a nice dual stage one.
