I haven't had use of these controls for sometime. These are for the audio volume, change stations and for the cruise controls. I had replaced the little brd for the audio but that did not work. Is there a place in the coulmn that breaks the wiring down?

Could the clockspring be a problem area?

 

do u have a after market stereo cause u lose all use of the controls unless u buy a ridiculous 200 dollar box that are brand specific for each head unit. Just want to make sure thats not the "problem" if its not that pull ur head unit and look for any pinched wires or loose connections.

 

I believe you are right. My clockspring went bad in my accord, and my horn didnt work. Honda wanted to charge me $616 (no joke) to fix it, but i found the part on ebay for $40. They said the clockspring controls all the electronics in the steering wheel.
