starter on a 97 2.2CL MT
I think my starter is dead, i'm hoping to get it checked out tomorrow. Has anyone replaced the starter on the 2.2CL with a manual trans?
I read in some other threads that some people have gotten the starter for $100 or so but I've been seeing more around $200 with the core charge. Does that seem about right?
Anyone have a any advice if I try to change the starter out myself?

Just an update for future reference...
I got a rebuilt starter for $85. Installed it myself in about 10 minutes. Also got a new battery because the one I had was kaputt.
If you ever have to get a new starter on the 97 2.2 CL, install it yourself.
Also, this model uses the same starter as the 94-97 Honda Accord. Thus they can be easy to find at Salvage yards if that interests you.
