SS-03B 92-97 Prelude Short Shifter
Hey fellaz,
I thought I was ordering this:
http://www.prostreetonline.com/parts...short_shifter/ which I had asked about in a previous post for opinions. I went ahead with the order and I received this:
http://jmdracing.com/store/brand_det...PageNum=1&ID=1
I thought they sent me the wrong part so I called them up and the guy told me the picture on the original link is incorrect. He says the short shift adapter is what I am looking for and that many people have had success with it.
Has anyone here ordered the same adapter? Will it fit on my 1997 Acura CL 2.2? or should I return it asap.
Any advice or recommondations will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you got gyped, the first link is to a whole new shifter piece. The second link is just an adapter. I dont think you'll be able to use a prelude adapter, you'll need one for the accord. If you were to completely change out the shifter, then you can use one for the prelude because the mounts are pretty much the same.
I would opt for just getting a cheap 92-96 OEM shifter and swapping yours out for that. It's about 2" shorter than stock and has shorter throws, search for my thread about it, i also put up a whole DIY on my site with pics

I like your setup, I'd get an OEM prelude shifter if I could find out, that seems to be the cheapest option. The PSPEC looks attractive but it kinda pricey for what I'm looking for.

If youre just going for looks, id either wait for a prelude shifter to come around (check craigslist or ebay) or you could cut your shifter down like that one guy did. Either way I wouldnt shell out $160 for PSPECS shifter.
