It's probabaly nothing but you should get it checked out at the dealer anyway. Mine came on after I put in a new alternator and I went to the dealer for my egr valve and asked them to check it out to make sure nothing was wrong. They turned it off for me.

Mine came on too after I changed the alternator. I was able to reset mine with a paper clip, but from what people say I guess that isn't the best thing to do.

Definitely get it checked out first...it could be serious!!!! However, the choice is up to you:

Here is the procedure

1. Turn off ignition

2. Connect the SCS service connector to the 2pin wire you take out of the drivers fuse box and is now hanging from a thicker harness.

3. Turn on ignition

4. SRS light comes on for 6 sec and then goes off. Before it has been off 4 sec, Remove the SCS connector.

5.SRS light turns on again. Reconnect the SCS service connector within 4 sec of light coming on

6. Light goes off, remove connector within 4 sec after light went off.

7. SRS light blinks 2 times telling you the memory is erased.

8. Turn ignition off.

If you know its not anything MAJOR.....use my instructions with a bent paper clip. I can host pics tonight of the connector if needed. Its on the left side under the steering wheel, kind of near your knee. The box should be a small yellow box with two wires going into it. Disconnect...and follow instructions above.

It's not too hard.

Just remember, if you reset the SRS light yourself...there is a risk of deploying the air bag...it's not common, but it does happen...I had mine reset at the dealership for like $42 (1/2 hour labor)...if I were you I would just go to the dealer...cause it's a lot of $$$ to fix the airbag....
