squeel + smell
So I just got my timing belt service done. Basically they Replace timing belt ,Inspect timing belt tensioner ,Replace water pump ,
Replace coolant ,Replace cam & crank seals ,Replace alternator belt ,Replace compressor belt ,Replace power steering belt . The only thing is that now when I start the car it makes a really high pitched squeel for like 4 seconds, and when I drive around it smells like somethings burning. What do you guys think it is?

My car does the same thing. I got my Timing belt and other parts replaced about 1300 miles ago. Yeah...after i got my timing belt serviced, i started smelling something burning. It goes away after I turn off the car and let it sit there for like 2 hours. When i park my car in my garage, you can totally smell something burning or burnt.

go to you local auto parts store and belt quiter it comes in a can you spray it on your belts and the wont squel anymore if that doesn't work then it is possible that when they changed all those belts they put to much tension on them
