I took my spoiler out about 2 weeks ago.

I havent noticed but after i took it out, my third brake light went.

i noticed this when having my car valet parked.

So i go to pep boys to have them check it out.

I thaught that when i took my spoiler off that it disconected the connection

betweeen the 3rd brake light and the spoiler's brake light.

the guy says to hook up the wire that was disconnected.

so i do this when i get home and my shift lock pops so i use a screw driver

to put it in gear. turns out all my brake lights turned off after pluging the

plug of the spoiler light into itself.


WTF is going on??!? Has anyone dealt with this problem?

 

could i have blown a fuse?

I have 2 deliver pizzas in like a hour and a half.

i'd hate 2 have to ask my mom 2 use her car

but my 3rd brake light is out.

should the brake lamp light come on when the bulb is out ?

i remember on my friend's 97 2.2 he had 2 brake bulbs dead and there was a light under

the door open, hood open and trunk open lights that read "brake lamp" or something similar.

this leads me to the fact that it has something to do with my spoiler being absent..

well now i have 2 brake lights and i dont have 2 use shift lock, so im delivering.
