Speaker Box

I'm making a box for my subwoofer's sometime this week and I want my amp back there somewhere instead of under the seat. I also want it to look really clean. Can anyone post pictures of thier trunk, have any suggestions or know someone on the forum who has a nice set up? Thanks.

Well, I wasn't going to post pics until I finished the install and borrowed my friend's really nice digital camera, but since you asked: here's a crappy pic of my unfinished sub box. I'm waiting to get another amp and speakers for the doors and dash before I carpet it and get the neons behind the acura cutout. My amps and 1 farad cap are mounted behind the acura emblem.

Where did you guys the grey carpet for your boxes? I've been having trouble finding some that matches.

Thanks

Nice work D5c5b It looks amazing. If i ever get more componets i might ask for your help about redoing my trunk.

The rest of the trunks look really good as well. I need to get working on mine and get some carpeting that matches better

thank you thank you.....i'd be moer than willing to helpp another cl'er with their trunk.....but im at school right now at auburn (alabama) studying architecture....and i spend, on average, 15 hours a day at studio....so these days i dont have much time for fun (i.e. working on the car).....but we'll see.......im sure i can work something out if anyone wants some help! later....and thanks for the compliments...

a lil' info on the trunk:

install of trunk took 3 days (1 just wiring and two cutting wood)

i used MDF (medium density fiberboard) from home depot...1/2 thick........ i found the PERFECT match carpet at a local stereo shop .... theres plexi on the trunk cover painted black with an eclipse sticker on it from the local stereo shop too....the plexi is from home depot....the mesh up top is speaker screen from the stereo shop...and behind that are 2 eclpise alum. 12's......total install cost me $40 and three days of fun!
