spc camber kit install!!! ahHHH
anyone get the 67320 spc balljoint kit? I got it from excelerator. It says on the spc website that it's made for the 97... which i have. Although... i took it to the place that was gonna put it on... popped out my old balljoint... stuck the new one up to it.... and the new one doesn't fit!!!! he's been doing balljoints for a long time, he even showed me balljoints from a TL, in which he installed the same kit# which worked. The SPC ppl say that this kit works with the 97 CLs...but they don't! Now i gotta get a new kit... then install it... and pay an extra $50 to get an alighnment again! the 97CL ball joint measures about 1.320, when the 67320 kit measures to fit balljoints with 1.388 or something like that. This Is Gay!

Ok heres the deal...I've spent the last 2 hours on the phone with the local acura dealers, my local installer, and SPC. SPC told me the measurements (what you see above) they also told me that sometimes when the 67320 dosnt fit, they use the 67340....And just like 3.Slow said, it makes since because the 67340 is for the 90-97 accord which is the exact suspension parts that our CL's have. So all in all, SPC has WRONG information on their website. Im awaiting a call back from the head of their returns Dept. and hope i'll get this all figured out...One things for sure, they are swapping me parts at no cost to me because they have false info on their site!
I'll let you know what happens when i get everything figured out.

Ok, FINALLY after spending like 2 hours on the phone swapping calls between the local acura dealers, my local meechanic, Excelerate, and SPC...I finally figured out the solution.
SPC dosn't claim they have false info on their website, but they DO claim that they know that with the hondas, sometimes parts fit and sometimes they dont. (they've figured that out....and basically i think its because they dont realise our 1st gens use the 90-97 suspension parts)
Anyway, I called SPC and told them our situation and was told to talk with a "Paul Medley" whos the head of the "Returns Dept." After speaking with Paul and explaining the situation, I told him out the measurements were off and he said he knew the fix. The balljoints are all the same, but the "mounting brackets" are not. Thats why the measurements are different and the balljoints dont install. He told me that the mounting brackets are "#1 Top Plate and the #2 Slide Plate" that come with the balljoints. (see the instruction sheet that came with the balljoint to understand) The 67320 balljoint has the Top Plate with the #67324 stamped on it, & the Slide Plate has the # 67322 stamped on it. Those are the wrong ones for our cars. Paul is actually UPS NDA shipping me the correct plates at no cost to me. (He appoligized for the mixup)
Soo NitiNite- Call SPC @ 1-800-525-6505 and ask for "Paul" the head of returns. If you explain to him you had the same situation I have, he should send you the correct plates at no cost to you. (you might even be able to have the company pay you for the cost of labor since you didnt know @ the time you tried to install them)
Hope this helps everyone out! (I forgot what Plate #'s he said were the correct ones, but im assuming they would be the same plates for the 90-97 accord kit)
Also, Heres a pict to what im talking about. On the far left is the #2 slide plate, the middle is the #1 top plate, and the far right is the complete ball joint assembled so you get an idea on what it looks like.
