Yup, I was on the H-3 at 6am, and the RSX flew right by me. I was contemplating whether or not if I should go after it. A good minute passed by, as I finally decided to go for it. I caught up to him a half mile ahead, and I was about 5 cars behind @ 85 mph. The dude starts to gun it, and thus the chase begins. I was trailing his ass up the freeway. As soon as we got into the tunnel, i downed it to 4th, and I walked his ass. I hazard his ass and kept going till about 118-120mph until my speed limiter kicked in- then I let off. Im not a hardcore street racer, but that was the first race I had been commited to, with my h22.

Speed limiter kicks in at 120? I've gotten my 3.0 up to 135 before.. well, the cop said he clocked me at 125, but still the speed limiter should act off of the speedometer, so I shouldn't have even been able to get the speedomoter that high. Isn't there some way to remove the speed limiter on cars? I'm sure it's probably programmed into the ecu of the CL, but still I'd think it would just take a good reprogramming of that part of hte ecu.

oh, so the h22 has a speed limiter? That sucks. I want to race an h22 so I can se the difference between that and the 3.0

 

insyone- you sure he was racing? You passed him up from a 5 car lead? What mods you got? RSX-S's are a very close match for me. I can beat stock ones, but i/e and they are dead even with me. Drivers race.

both stock for i can tell. it was an loaner from acura. the dude was goin 100+ and he was giving it. i had my friend in my car too.
