Hey whats up James. Sorry to hear my old hood didn't make it. I can't really sell the CF hood since I don't have any others left to sell the car with. I put the buy it now on the car at $11,250 if anything PM me and we can talk.

Hey Rick hows is everything going for you. Its good to hear from you guys.
I know I've been away for awhile. Been really busy working and I have pretty much dropped out of the import scene.
I'm sorry to see my CL go as well but I really don't have a choice. The amount of money I spend on her is just not worth me using it 2 or 3 times a month. And I can't take the CL to work since all I do is take my customers out to look at houses.
So she's gotta go :'( . I know I'm going to lose all the money I put into the car but atleast I made some money off selling the built h22a4.
So have I missed anything interesting while I was gone? Or is it still the usual does an h22 fit in a CL questions? Hows your car running Rick?

Too bad you cant keep the car and it has to go, how was the car running with the 5 speed conversion?

Hey Joe,

Car runs great. Really hard and fast out of the hole. The short gears really help on the launch. Only bad thing is that the short gears in the h22 tranny take away from her top end speed. Can't go faster than 120 MPH because she redlines. But its really not that bad since I never really go that fast. And besides the car will never hit 120 mph in a 1/4 mile race.
I haven't gone to the track since the tranny swap so I can't really give you guys any times but I know the car feels much faster than before. I was thinking of going to the track one last time before I sell the car this week but I'm sure thats a bad idea. All I need is for something to go wrong and then I'll have to put even more money into the car.

 

Do you guys think I put the buy it now price to high? Nobody has bid on it yet

 

Car has been relisted on ebay. No reserve and the auction starting at only $1.


If it doesn't sell this time then I don't know what else to do.

Yes I had to relist it. The first time around they were some bids but nowhere near the reserve price. Hopefully this time without a reserve more people will be interested in purchasing it.
