Sold the CL today (pics)

Well, I decided that a 10 year-old car was a bit too old for me (in terms of reliability). The CL definitely has a lot of features that many cars today still don't have.

Here are some pics of it from a while back. No interior pics, but I had a Pioneer 6800MP, which unfortunately I had to sell with the car since my dad threw away my stock parts when we moved.

btw, Fuzzy dice FTW

Don't have one yet. I'll get something before the school year starts, but I'm going on vacation for the next 2 weeks to see friends, so I don't even need a car until after then.

I'll probably get an 03 or 04 civic or something of that type. Kind of a downgrade, but I can't afford the repair premium that comes with the Acura name as well as the expensive parts that begin to break down around the 10 year mark. (ex: rear main seal leak, tranny slipping when cold)

I meant in terms of luxury features, since civics are economy cars (no leather, heated seats/mirrors, etc)

Sometimes you just have to go newer, a sad thing to do...How about an 03' CLs 6MT or an Accord coupe 6MT? We could use some more decent members in 2nd gen

I have already seen several new civics modded pretty deep around here...which is tight, exclusivity is nice too though

If I could find a 6Speed 03 CL-S around here i would jump all over it, but closest one Iv seen is a good state away. But Id recommend a 2nd Gen too man. Beautiful cars in my mind.

Thinking of selling mine too. Just pick her up from the shop, (been there since saturday) and spend $600 putting in a new gas tank, mine was leaking. I've had to put too much mondey into it for now so, i'm seriously thinking of selling.

I want pretty much the base model though. While I LOVE my V6 it has given me nothing but problems, so I'm only going to test drive the 4cyl and then I'll convince myself that's the one I want. My leather in the CL has died and died again so now I know I want cloth. Can I even get one that's a 4cyl w/ cloth and a sunroof? BUT there's no way in hell I'm going to drive a DX even if it is what I really want hahaha unless I just debadge it. I think the honda guys here feel bad for me because I'm always there getting my car worked on hahaha

yes you can thats the EX. the option that comes with leather and dual climate control is the EX-L. unless its a V6. the V6 only comes in LX or EX with leather and dual climate control.

A 4cyl is now an EX? crazy madness! I was told it's about a $2200 difference between a 4cyl and a 6cyl...think it's worth it? I'm just scared because of all the tranny problems I've had in the ack.

Bought '04 Civic last night

Very happy with it. It's a 2004 EX so it's not feature stripped like the DX (manual windows huh?) and even somewhat the LX. Funny thing is my dad has an '06 red Civic EX sedan, and my mom confuses the two because they are almost the same color! Yeah she doesn't notice much about cars though so haha

Unfortunately auto, but at least the gear shift looks cool Windows are also tinted, not sure what percent though.

Overall very clean, with a few minor scuffs...engine bay is clean enough to eat off of

Mods, could you add the pics above to the original post and change the title to "Sold the CL and bought a Civic"?
