I'm looking for that dark smoked look, not dark enough for cops to pull me over, but i wanna do five windows, and sorta have them matching, anyone got SOLARGARD tint on their car and have pics of it? What percent do you have?

I have 20% on my new CL. I had 30% all the way around on my older 98 CL.

You probably should ask someone in Calif if they think you would get pulled over with 30% tint. You can still see though it, but they may tell you to go up to the next percentage tint.

Which ever tint you pick, go the next darkest on the real window. It will be hard to tell them apart, but it will really help on the heat rejection of the tint. On my 03 CL I have 30 sides and 20 rear, and you can't tell the shades apart. Looks really good.

what do you mean go to the next darkest on the real window? 30 on the front sides, and 20 on the back 2 sounds pretty good to me, got any more pics of your new cl?

If you do 30 on the front and 20 on the side and rear you will be able to see the tint shade difference. If your ok with that, then fine. If you do 30 on front and side and then 20 on rear, you won't be able to see the tint shade difference.

I like Llumar, gives a nice dark color with good visablility, which means its transparent enough for the BOBO's to leave you alone.

aight i just got my tint done for 250 bucks at bay car stereo, 30% on the front two windows, 30% on the back two windows, and 21% just on the backside, waiting for it right now, hope it comes out good

EHH, I just got 12 percent all around, think I'll get pulled over for it? Or will they give me a ticket if they pull me over for speeding etc.

oh btw, i got solargard titanium tint, i wanted quantam but they said they don't got it, is titanium any good?

Titanium is awesome. That's what is on the 98 Acura that I showed you. You won't be disappionted with the tint. Can't say anything about the tint job, don't know who is doing it...

aight cool, i went with 30% on the sides and 20% on the back window, how do you think it'll turn out? you think 30% is too light?

That will be perfect....you don't want to go to dark in Caliif. You will love it. The 20% on the back will help a lot on heat rejection off that large window.

thanks for all your help throughout this whole thing man, around 2m afternoon i should be able to get my car back fully tinted, i hope it's a nice job, thanks again though, been a big help

anyone heard of johnson tint?(or something that sounds like that) cuz thats what my local tint shop says. Is it any good?
