so whats teh easy way?

anybody have those certain things about our cars that make you want to hit yourself in the face about 10 times?? they are prolly really easy to figure out but you dont take the time to realize how it actually works...

i will obviously start and if anybody has the asnwer to this feel free to fill me in...
also write down your issue and someone will make you feel retarded

CHECK... ENGINE... LIGHT... Im sure its something silly. I mean, the car runs JUST FINE. ugh.

Also, my steering wheel. I could take 5 minutes aside and tear the rest of the leather off, and I'd be OK. Also, Im missing a horn button. could find that at any junkyard and I'd probably be fine.

-Alex

p.s. - clear corners are HAWT! now I need to find some nice looking white bulbs instead of this dim yellow that I see very clearly now...

i used a flathead to gently pry them while using a phillips to unscrew them. i still had to break one out though as its allmost inevitable.

That's what i've been using for years. It's a great tool. You can get it off the Snap-on truck (can't find it online though) or MAC truck. MATCO has a different one that will probably be a little cheaper.

you can get snap ring pliers at any hardware store...that is a good idea though because you should be able to pinch both sides of the middle and pull with those. i usually just try to pry on both sides evenly with a screwdriver. the plastic is very brittle though.

when i had my rear bumper replaced the guy fixing it just broke all mine and gave me brand spankin new ones. i think he said they were like 28 cents ea. he said they were meant to be disposable anyway as they BECOME brittle over time.

my CEL is always on too ever since i installed my cat-back. i reconnected my o2 sensor correctly so i dont see what the problem is. it also has a tendency to dim and brighten with engine RPM. WTC is up with that.

and agranado, white bulbs shine a yellowish tint. blue ones shine whiter
only ones that show a blue tint are the bumper turnsignal bulbs. they also make little half halos on the ground which IMO is str8 tits dude.
