Smog Station???
If you have been ordered by the DMV to go to a smog station... does that meant he local gas station that does smog or does it mean a ref? Shit... I have a 95 h22A in a 97 Cl... its not smog legal.

I have never heard of a smog station but after I stored my car for 6 mo. I realized I had some electrical problems. My inspection was past due. My friend took me to a long time mechanic & friend he knew that passed me for a few extra bucks if ya know what I mean. I got the problem fixed a couple weeks later when I got more $$$ but I'm positive I saved a couple tickets to say the least.
Ask around. Unless the test is soley conducted by the DMV, I'm pretty sure you can work around it. Good luck.

i'm pretty sure its just a local gas station or any other certified smog station. you should go into the ghetto and get it smoged and ask them to pass it for you. it would be better if you knew people tho.

Where do you live???
In Cali, there are places like this. I can't think of the exact name of it, but State ref definately rings a bell.
I had a friend who got pulled over for exhaust. He was ticketed and was required to go to a state ref for inspection. He had no cat on the car. He had to put the stock exhaust on and go.
You have to go to the state ref stations, not just any.
This isn't for renewals though. If it is just a renewal, you can go anywhere.
