should keep my freestyle intake
should keep my freestyle intake
Don't have any pics, but anyone whos familiar with this job:
i kept the existing piece that comes from the throttle body with a bunch of tubes connecting to it but i disconnected the airbox and just added a performance filter connected to a metal pipe (pipe wasnt meant for this engine, but it was a lot shorter than it needed it to be so i just kept half the stock intake)
does this have to be modified, is it unsafe? it works!
i see a few tubes connected into that existing piece and I dont want to mess too much with the stock system except add better airflow, what do those extra tubes do?

As long as there are no leaks and the cone filter stays on, you shouldn't have a problem. Post up a pic and I'll tell u for sure. The extra tubes are vaccuum lines, and you want them hooked up to the intake and filtered.
