I'm a recent college grad, and I'm looking into buying a first gen ACura CL with over 84K on it. Since this will be my first major purchase, I wondering if I should sink $5K into this Acura that I found on Ebay. It has 115K on it, but I troubled by the fact that it has a reconditioned title. I really want the car, and more than willing to drop 5K on it, yet I need a second opinion.

Also, what questions should I ask the seller, and should I get it inspected by mech. Ebay offers SGS inspection for $100 bucks.

I wouldn't get that one if I were you, it was in a flood and has been reconditioned. Personally I would check auto trader and your local dealerships and see if you can find one with less miles that wasn't flooded

dont get any reconditioned car because once you get sick of it you can't trade it in and it will be a bitch to sell it with that title.

Again, thanks for the input. I'm not going to get that particular CL. I asked the owner, and he stated that he would take $4900 for it. Maybe there are reasons why he is trying to get rid of it.

That's why he's sellin it on ebay, hopin some sucker will buy it with a "reconditioned" title. He can't sell it locally or trade it in.
