when im driving my stupid passenger side seat keeps sqweaking or rattling. it sounds like its coming from the middle where the seat reclines. i dont know if its loose or what. i tried tightening some screws but i couldnt find much. did anybody here have this prob? its nothing major, but its really irritating. any ideas on what i can do?

 

lmao... welcome to passenger seat s woes 101... I along with many others have had this problem and I have yet to find a way to fix it myself!!! There is NOTHING to tighten...


3 solutions...

1. Buy a new seat... I am buying aftermarket racing seats.. or you can also buy a new stock one...

2. ride with someone always in your passenger seat! Never rattles then!

3. Play your music really loud... shouldnt hear rattles over your radio at loud volumes!!!


I dont mean to poke fun, just that i do not think there is much else you can do!

 

I have the same problem....ok heres what you do..sit in your drivers seat and take your right elbow and hit the passenger seat toward the door. the problem is that the right side track doesn't click all the way in, but the left side does. if you click the right side in it will stop squeeking. hope this helps

 

when you drive solo, make sure that the headrests is all the way down. If mine is up, and since the seat trembles a little on it's own, then the headrest makes the shaking worse.
