Smile seafoam

I've got my dear primrose '97 acura 2.2 CL and I've Seafoamed the gas tank. The car wasn't noisy to begin with but now it's almost silent when running. I noticed on the can it talks about putting Seafoam in the engine and other areas. What I would like to know is whether you folk only Seafoam the gas tank or do you actually put it in the engine or elsewhere?

thanks

I've always been skeptical about seafoam. Do you literally just pour it in the gas tank? It seems like it can't be that easy.

Honestly I didn't even know you could put it in the gas tank. What does that help, just noise?

Actually just pouring something into the gas tank can be amazing. I used something, can't remember what, in my 85 Mustang prior to going thru my emissions test and passed. Even my mechanic who did the test was amazed I passed.

-1/3 into the oil and let it run. Car will sputter and want to die but keep it alive but not above 2500-3000 rpm. Once its run for a bit (like 10-15 min) change your oil with a fresh filter making sure that you drain as much of the old oil as possible. Would be a good thing to let it sit and slowly drain for a while.

-1/3 through a vacuum line into the intake or through the throttle body if you have a V6 (the breather hose from the valve cover works well. Just make sure that the intake is tilted upward so the seafoam flows into the engine). When you have a bit left, make the car suck it up quick and let it die. If it doesnt, shut it off quick. Then let it sit for 15 minutes minimum. When you try to restart it, it wont want to start but keep cranking with the gas pedal down 1/4-1/2 way and it will eventually start. This is where the fun begins. Rev it up and watch the white smoke come out of your exhaust pipe

-1/3 in the gas tank after everything above.

Oh the smoke fun:

Everyone says to do it this way for a V6:

But I think that its not useful as it only hits 3 pistons
