Screw winding it up to 4000 for vtec
ok....i want vtec controller! HELP! what do i do??? and how much does this cost? Ohhh....will this hurt a stock 2.2 motor?and can anyone include pics of the controller and where it hooks up or anyting!......thanks!

You really dont want to adjust your VTEC to engage too early. From what i have heard it actually can hurt your performance and the controllers are usually only good if you have lots of mods and can dyno it to get the settings right

Yeap, I wouldnt suggest it unless you plan on a lot of mods. Otherwise the only other reason to get it is for all the cool looking lights and the display. Believe it or not, all that extra breathing that occurs when the VTEC changes over hurts you at low rpms because things like a restricted intake and muffler backpressure are what give you low end power. If the high rpm VTEC profile was what would give you the best power all the time, Honda would've saved a lot of money by just running it that way without the need for the VTEC system.
