Scratched the Bumper...need help with paint questions

So I was trying to maneuver my car out of the driveway today, with a car behind me, thinking that it was possible, well, it wasn't, I hit a white flower pot and the paint scratched onto my car or I lost paint, there are four white marks on my bumper, I would post pictures but I dropped the digi cam today as well and broke it...I just need some suggestions/tips on touch up or how to buff it out...whatever...thanks fellas.

well if it is deep you cant just buff it out. i think you should go to a shop and have them look at it.

if its just paint from what ever u hit go to a auto parts store and try laquer thinner. it will remove the paint from the surface with out hurting the factory paint. what ever u do DO NOT get it on the black skirts it will turn them white also be carefull not to get it on plastic it will damage it.

If it's deep, you're looking at a new bumper cover. My wife's car is in the body shop this week getting a brand new bumper cover and paint. She got rear-ended and all it did was put a couple of deep scratches on the bumper. They told me they can't just fill it and paint it - they gotta replace it (for a mere $980).

Get a good pollishing compound. Rub hard or use a buffer. Then polish and wax.
