19s is way pushing it. I don't know about everyone else, but IMHO, 20s are a disaster waiting to happen, even if you could fit them under there?

Well if you put 20s on you are going to have to roll your fenders most likely. I havent seen many CLs with 19's except on the 2nd gens. People have minor trouble with 18s rubbing with a drop. Besides 20s would slow you down so much but if you do it make sure you post pics

I was talking to my friend that works at a racing garage out here in seattle, and he said that if you got a eibach prokit, which is a 1.3 inch drop, you could fit 19's. You're gonna have trouble fitting dubz on that shit, but just go to a local tire/rim shop and ask them, and they will know.

i work in a tire shop and there aint no way in hell your gunna fit 20's on our rides 19's are PUSHIN it even wit fender rolled and if you ran 30 series sidewalls ( those are only about and inch mabey less of a sidewall ) youde have trouble and the thing would ride like a truck wit that small of a sidewall ans big of a rim ... dont get me wrong i think 20's would look crazy on a 2.2 but there just no way its gunna happen ...just get some sick ass 18's i got mine picked out now im just waitin for the spring...

The first time you hit a pothole, or for that matter, anything bigger than a pebble on the road, your tires are gone and your rims are scratched. I have only seen 20s on one 2nd gen, and he had to run 30 series tires.

On another note, MaCe, what 18's did you pick out?? Im getting wheels as soon as its turns warm again. Lexani is coming out with the Roma II, which looks unbelieveable, but they only offer it in 19s.

You can fit 19's. I know because that is what I have on my 2.2 I have 225/35/zr19. I do not think that 20's will fit. I like my 19's, but sometimes they are too much. You will learn where every pothole is really quick.

I like those a lot. They are multi-piece too, so maybe lighter. I think they will look great. I hod Niche Shocks on my Probe in high school, and I liked them a lot. Good company, great product. I'm thinking about Lexani Roma II that come out in March. They only make them in 19s though, and the town that I go to college in has really poor roads, so I dunno.

You have a second gen, hence a larger stock treadwall so you can do 20's no prob. The first gens have a smaller diameter so 19's are really all you can do without body mods. I am putting on 19's, everyone has 18's. I have 18's now and wished i went bigger, so i finally did. When i get my 19's, i know i can't go any bigger, so i can't tell my self to make the 20" jump 19's with 225/35/19's are not a prob on the CL, i don't know why everyone says they are

Sickacura, the yellow widebody was going to put on 20" HRE's with a 25 sidewall, but went with a 19" spinner kit instead. With a 25 sidewall now, i think anyone can do 20's. You just can't drive the thing at all.

You can fit 20's on a CL but there are only certain styles in a 7.5 width. There is a 94-97 Accord rolling around my town with 20's looks cool but he has a body kit on it so it looks lower if you put 20's you can probably forget about lowering you car, and the 4x4 look really doesn't look good.

You can't lose on 22s with tires that run flat.
