the only similarities i see between these cars is that they have 2 doors and 4 wheels with the same badge. other than that they are totally different cars aimed at totally different markets so ppl need to stop comparing

One of the many reasons i bought a 4runner, aside from wanting 4WD, and something with 4 doors to cart shit with the seats folded, but you can also fit a queen size matress in the back with the seats folded into a truck bed

Hmmm, point taken but don't be a goof about it...your hp/litre statement is irrelevant, I could care less how much HP you make per litre, regardless of that it doesn't mean shit when there's other factors to consider such as gear ratios, curb weight, ect that will determine which vehicle performs better.
Plus back in 97 when they first came out, 200 HP wasn't bad in the 3.0 engine, considering that 97 Honda Accord EX V6 had a 2.7L 170 hp and 178lbs of torque, so sure if you wanna divide 200 by 3 that's fine, it still doesn't mean shit. There's many vehicles that would be better than your GSR or R type if you want to make comparisons. Also performance wasn't bad, I have numerous magazines with 0-60 times of 7.6 with the 97 CL 3.0 premium, that's not too bad for a 97 model that only coms with an automatic tranny. Comparing an auto vs a manual wouldn't be an even playing field, so there's no point making "performance comparisons".
And we really cant compare yesterdays technology with todays, the bottom line is a car is a car and if your happy with what you have thats the main thing, some are just better than others and in this thread an Integra isn't in the same legue as a CL because they're both targeted towards a different market....you said it best when you wrote that both have there Pro's and Con's, I think that's true for all vehicles out on the market today....unless your rich and can afford to custom build a vehicle from the ground up, lol.

hahaha i know you all probably hate team-integra.net, but let me just tell u that this thread would have been locked before n e one had a chance to respond. thats one good thing about it
**oh and btw, i test drove a friends 3.2 CL Type S yesterday.. holy fucking shit. i completely fucking fell in love. unbelievable. im thinking about selling my gsr and using that as a down payment for a 3.2 type s. fuck.. nice ride, comfy as shit.. im not a huge fan of the first gens, theyre not bad, just not for me.. but god damn THAT was a fucking sick car. sry just had to express that to someone.**
