just about to say that, and the TL is supposedly the replacement for the vigor line, the CL model was a new line at the time. i owned a legend sedan and coupe before the CL-S, i looked at a couple 1st gen CL's back in the day but bought the legend sedan over a 3.0CL, combo of 3.2L and being bigger n more comfortable.

boy do i miss my legends haha

I compared a slightly modded 3.0 to a slightly modded GSR. The only thing the 3.0 had that the GSR didnt have was headers. I explained that in the comment I previously made. So you can say the 3.0 had a better advantage simply because of that, but take into consideration the GSr had an advantage with it's gear ratios. So it was a fair race to begin with. I'm aware there are a lot of other factors that come into play when drag racing, and wit the given scenario, it was pretty damn fair.

From what I understand, the CL was the direct replacement for the legend coupe....I think the CL coupe is much nicer looking than the Legend coupe not to mention very comfortable as well......

lol.. great now we've got teg owners coming onto our board's telling us what's up

all i know is that you can get a teg and be like 99% of every other "tuner" out there right now and slap a wing, an ebay intake, and a bunch of stickers and be dorifto-ing into oak tree's for all I care...

I also know that when I'm rolling in my CL I'm rolling in style, luxury, and I turn heads.

I dont need to get to 80-90 in 7-8 seconds... Because then nobody would be able to my ride!

...at least, not until i build my engine and drop a turbo in her... then we'll see what those teg owners say..

not to mention the power to weight ratio. 3.0's are a damn heavy ass car.... oh yea.. and also the fact that they are auto.

i was a former teg owner... loved that car (mugen'ed out 91 LS-SE)... when i was looking for another car to buy, after my DA was totaled due to a stoopid lady running the redlight, i was actually lookin for another teg to buy. i saw a CL sitting at a used car dealership and and said "hmmmmm... well.... lemme test drive it". i test drove it and fell in love with its style and comfort.

heres my old teggy:

and for those of u that want to know bout the accident..

the reason why this thread is 7 pages long and counting cuz opinions are like assholes..everybody has one...there isnt much of point sitting here and arguing which is "better". I had the choice between a loaded integra(leather, roof, etc...i beleive thats the gs trim level) and a 2.2 CL when i was buying a car...I picked the Cl and i dont regret it for a second.

Im 6'4" and the CL is the first car if feel comfortable in while driving. Used to drive a 2002 VW Golf and sometimes drive my dad's 2001 Subaru Outback. The Golf was okay, its just a small car really. The subaru is bad...it really compromises driver comfort for rear seat passengers...but thats expected of a family wagon. oh and btw... CL is the Shit

honestly... i have more respect for CL owners that fix their cars up and make them look just as and if not better than the integras... there are so many "cookie cutter" integras out there and its nice to stand out in a crowd everynow and then

i think cl's and integras are both nice car's and can be done up shity or sexy...just depends on what you do to it.. only reason i bought mine was because of the motor otherwise i prob would of got somthing eles like......1.6el, ek civic, 1st gen cl, 240sx but tho's are all cars i would have to swap the motor with or turbo.....i care about speed so i went with my integra...and im happy wiht my "stock motor" that i can keep in it....

i honestly dont know for sure...i read 8.9 on one site that didnt specify transmission and 9.78 for 2.2 with 4speed auto on autos.msn.com....so im guessing 8.9 is for a manual. I could be wrong fast enough for me
