rubbing?

I just got a quick question am I the only one with sportlines who rubs in the front on hard turns? (just tire hitting the plastic, the guy told me its fine) I cut out a little bit of it but it still happens on incline/decline or real tight turns. Im thinking my 215/40 should be changed to 215/35? Anyone have 35 series, hows the ride quality? and is it easier to bend rim like that? Also is it ok if im hitting the plastic? Just sounds like Cckkkkkkkkkkk, and it only happens on front left for some reason

I do on hard turns, but it's only the plastic. I just need to dremel it when it gets out of the shop. 35's will ride like shit, trust me. you don't want them. Nothing wrong w/ hitting the plastic
