Rotor screw question??

I have a 99 2.3 and the front brakes needed to be done, so i got new pads and rotors and put them on yesterday. One screw on each front rotor was broken in half so I could only use one screw. The last person who did the rotors left part of the scew in!!!!!!! (screw that goes into the rotor on the front). Is this gonna be a problem, or should I take both screws out and have none? My old car, audi a4, did not have any screws and just stayed on with the lugs. Could that would with my cl? Just want to make sure before I do something stupid. Thanks Nate

those screws were used to hold on the rotor durring assembly when they made the car. u dont need them. however, if u take both of them out everytime u put ur car in reverse or drive from park it will click cause the rotor is moving like 1/16th of an inch. its not going to cause a problem but its just annoying. ull be ok with just one. infact im going to get new ones for mine just so i dont have to hear that damn click.

I left mine out when I changed the rotors and I do not have any 'click'. If the rotor is slipping behind the wheel, I think some lug nut tightening would be in order......
