right upper control arm replaced with a left one!!
So I took my car to Mr. Tire today to get a free alignment check since my car pulls to the right a bit ever since I recently had my tires rotated. When I purchased the car in May I noticed it was pulling, so the dealer did an alignment. I had a 30-day warranty on the car, but didn't opt for the extended.
They couldn't do the alignment since they said the right upper control arm was replaced with a left control arm. I didn't have any work done since I've owned the car, so obviously it was like this before I bought it.
BTW, I bought the car from Carmax in May, and they have (or gave me) a 128-point checklist for my car, and all the suspension parts were checked as 'ok'. Apparently they didn't look close enough! So I left a VM with the service mgr this pm, I'm going to push for a free repair, since they overlooked it during inspection. Unless Mr. Tire is making this up (which I doubt). The parts and labor for this is $300

So... I called the dealer and explained to situation to the service manager, and I'm taking it next week to have them look at it, though they didn't say specifically, looks like I'll be covered. Considering the car went through a 128-point inspection, they missed a biggie. As I like to say, "That's unacceptable"!!
