Replacement tires for stock rims
It's time to get new tires.
I was looking at getting 215 55 16's but it seems that that size, along with standard 205 55 16's are the most common and therefore more expensively priced. Then I looked at 215 60 16's and it seems that this size is bit less common and a bit less in price. Obviously, the profile will be taller, but will rub or anything? Anyone use this size?

I'll take a look at those. Is your's lowered....how is the gappage?
Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 V-rated in that size seems to be the most expensive. I guess it varies with the profile.
215 50 16 - $81
215 55 16 - $67
205 55 16 - $62

my car is lowered with eibach springs. looks good with the stock rims, but the 50 sidewall looks nicer than the 55 and holds a little better also, i think. is this what you are always going to be riding on? if they are your everyday tires, spend the money. get some michelins or goodyears. try tirerack.com, they're pretty good.
